Search Old Facebook Messages 2019

This shows you just how to review your old chat messages on Facebook. You can do this from within the Facebook Messenger application, or you can utilize the desktop Facebook site.

Search Old Facebook Messages

: > Log-in to your Facebook account. Click in the "Messages" button on top of the Facebook screen.

: > Click "See All."

: > Click in the "Search Messages" field as well as go into a search term. Click the "Search" switch or press "Enter" on your keyboard.

: > Scroll down the list of messages to find the message. You may need to click on "Load Older Thread" at the end of the display to show even more messages.

: > Sight archived messages by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking the "Archived" web link at the bottom of the page. Scroll via your archived messages, if needed.

Tips: If you removed the message from Facebook Messenger, you likely won't be able to get them.

Cautions: You can not respond to archived messages.
